Employees of an organization that transmits a program or information by radio, television, or the internet.

How they find employment:
As employees of news and/or entertainment networks and stations.

Types of News & Information Broadcast work:

Anchor - presents news during a news program on the television, on the radio or on the Internet. They may also be a working journalist, assisting in the collection of news material and may, in addition, provide commentary during the program. News presenters most often work from a television studio or radio studio.

Reporter - presents the news from remote locations in the field related to a particular news event.

Types of Entertainment Broadcast work:

Disc Jockey - an announcer of a radio show of popular recorded music.

Radio Personality - on-air position in radio broadcasting. A radio personality who hosts a radio show is also known as a radio host. Broadcast radio personalities may include talk radio hosts, AM/FM radio show hosts, and satellite radio program hosts.
