The New England Local represents members in eastern Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

This includes everything from historic Boston to the northern coast of Maine as well as the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire, the picturesque villages of Vermont and the scenic towns of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

SAG-AFTRA New England Local members do it all — from feature films and commercials to corporate/educational and student films. With its abundance of urban, coastal and pastoral settings, New England is experiencing a surge of film production, as well as exciting growth in its community of filmmakers and acting talent. In addition to the entertainment employment opportunities, the New England Local negotiates and administers more than a dozen broadcast collective bargaining agreements that cover journalists, reporters, DJs, and content creators at radio and television stations throughout the region.
